Vous avez dit WIFI partout ?

Le déploiement massif du réseau WiFi est aujourd'hui confronté à 2 problèmes majeurs correspondants à deux modèles différents qui fonctionnent en parallèle  :

- Le réseau privé qui fonctionne sur la base du paiement des accès mis en place par des  opérateurs qui équipent les lieux publics ( restaurants, hotels , gares , aeroports .... ) avec ORANGE , VODAFONE, ADP Télécom ou Méteor.

- Un  réseau de plus en plus dense d'accès  WiFi privés dans les entreprises et chez les  particuliers qui sont eux gratuits mais désormais de plus en plus fermés aux accès externes par des systèmes d'authentifcation ( Exemple LIVEBOX de Wanadoo ).

Résultat, lorsque vous vous balladez dans Paris, vous vous confrontez aux accès payants et aux autres accès sécurisés donc innaccessibles.

Et pourquoi pas une solution alternative intermédiaire ?  C'est ce qu'à conçut et inventé Martin VARSAVSKY (entrepreneur argentin qui avait créé le portail YA.com et l'opérateur Jazztel ) avec la solution  / Communauté FON.

La communauté FON est basée sur une partie payante pour les personnes qui veulent accéder à une borne WiFi et une partie gratuite pour les personnes qui en échange d'offrir une partie de leur accès Internet aux autres se voit offrir la gratuité de tous les points d'accés de la communauté.

En fait, il y a plusieurs niveaux dans la communauté, avec une tarification spécifique à chaque niveau. Pour les membres de FON, les "Linus", l'accès est complètement gratuit. Ensuite, il y aura un niveau intermédiaire mis en place dans les prochaines semaines, celui des "Bills", qui bénéficieront d'un tarif réduit. Cette formule est faite pour les commerçants, les restaurateurs, les entrepreneurs, qui garderont 50 % des bénéfices issus des connexions du troisième niveau. Ce troisième niveau, c'est celui des "Aliens", pour qui l'accès via la connexion des Foneros est payant : 1,50 euro pour 30 minutes, 5 euros pour 24 heures, ou 35 euros par mois, mais qui pourront ainsi bénéficier d'un accès Wifi partout dans le monde grâce à la communauté FON. Nous pensons que le modèle est sain financièrement : il y a aujourd'hui 3.000 Foneros, au milieu de 650 millions d'utilisateurs d'Internet.

Vous pouvez d'ores et déjà vous inscrire à la communauté FON en ouvrant votre accès ADSL aux autres ( https://es.fon.com ) . Si vous êtes dans les 3000 premiers candidats vous bénéficeraient d'une antenne gà 30 euros, antenne que vous n'aurez plus qu'à brancher cette antenne sur votre boitier ou routeur ASDL.

Des entreprises comme SKYPE et GOOGLE on mis un peu d'argent pour que tout cela puisse démarrer. Rendez vous d'ici quelques mois.... on verra si la communauté se développe ou pas.
